Structure Fire

A fire has destroyed a building near the airport. The blaze was reported just after 9pm Sunday night in a building located near Old Vernon Rd. A witness reports it was only about 400 metres from the airport control tower. The property appears to be old and run down, with no occupants. Thankfully so far there are no reports of any injuries. We will have more details as they become available.
