Knox Mountain Road now is closed to vehicle traffic.
Snow is expected at higher elevations this week. In addition, below-freezing temperatures make the road to the top of Knox Mountain hazardous. Last year, the road closed on November 28.
Knox Mountain Park remains open to pedestrians and cyclists. The road will reopen early next spring when weather conditions permit.
