A bit of a problem this morning out at Silver Star when the main chair lift malfunctioned leaving a number of people stranded.

Turned out that a bolt had been sheered off on one of the towers. General Manager Michael Sherwood says it has been fixed for now, but they still need another bolt.

Close to 40 people had to be brought down manually after a 90 minute wait. Things should be back to normal Thursday.
