The Spirit of Kelowna parade float ended the season on a grand scale this week, participating in the Rogers Santa Claus Parade in Vancouver December 5.

It was the 20th and final parade of the year for the Ogopogo-themed vehicle. Float ambassador Clarence Johnson said the attendance was estimated at 300,thousand along the parade route.

The parade will be televised on Global TV Saturday December 12 at 1 p.m. and again on Christmas day at noon.

The Spirit of Kelowna float travelled thousands of kilometres this year to 20 different parades viewed by close to a million people.
