UBC Okanagan Education students have created Christmas cards for clients at Kelownas Gospel Mission to help share holiday greetings with family and friends.

Throughout the week, volunteers are visiting with the people at the Mission, giving out holiday cards made by the Education students, and helping them get the cards delivered in time for Christmas.

The program coordinator says the idea came about after a routine stop at the shelter where a student was asked for a pen and paper so one of the homeless could write a letter home.
