West Kelowna / Kelowna Rural RCMP in conjunction with the BC Coroner's service are investigating a sudden death. The body of a female adult was recovered from lake Okanagan in the early morning of June 19th near Kelowna City park. Investigation of this event is in the preliminary stages and the identification of the deceased has not yet been positively made. West Kelowna General Investigation section with assistance from Kelowna City Detachment are continuing the investigation. The cause of death has not yet been definitively determined.
