Here is the latest u[pdate for the Westside Road Fire:

 

The fire on Westside Road near Wilson's Landing has breached the fireguard, and has come down to the road. As a result, Westside Road is closed from Bear Main Forest Service Road (south end of closure) through to Jenny Creek Subdivison at Browse Road (north end of closure) until further notice to allow fire crews to fight the fire. All traffic is being stopped at Bear Main Forest Service Road for northbound traffic, and all residents in the affected area are being advised to travel north through Vernon along Westside Road. At the time of this release, no evacuation orders or alerts have been issued.
