NewsMan Stabbed in Rutland
A 32 year old Kelowna man received multiple non-life threatening stab wounds on Canada Day near a convenience store on Rutland Road.
On July 1st, 2012 just minutes before midnight, the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a stabbing at the Macs Convenience Store, 1007 Ruland Road North. Apparently, the suspect had been standing outside the Macs where he attacked the Kelowna man. Immediately after the attack, the suspect fled on foot. The Kelowna man was taken to the hospital with seemingly non-life threatening injuries. The attack appears to have been targeted.
The suspect is described as a man in his late 30's, 5'10" and 200lbs with short brown hair and a scruffy face.
