Fire Investigators from the Kelowna Fire Department and RCMP have concluded their investigation of the Fire at the Coast Capri Hotel at 1171 Harvey Avenue that occurred June 30, 2012 at 01:21am.

Investigators have confirmed that there were to separate points of origin for this fire. One fire was on the 6^th floor exit stairwell landing and the other was in a 7^th floor storage room which extended up into the 8^th level. This fire has been confirmed as suspicious and the investigation has been turned over to the RCMP. Damage estimate for this fire has yet to be determined.
